We have been living for over a year now. The apartment living is OK. It is gated and very safe. No issues while living. We kept the apartment very clean with very little damage. Still we had to forfeit the deposit amount with the manager giving us an outrageous landry list of cleaning. We could not believe we were deceived into believing the manager is friendly. When asked about the charges the answer we received was "if you dont like it, then go to court". I mean, what else can a resident do than paying whatever amount they charged' Totally unfair; a total rip-off. I recommend that users stay away from this place. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

http://www.dca.ca.gov/publications/landlordbook/sec-deposit.shtml this is a good website to argue any problems with landlords that use remarks like that to belittle tenents. quote of the site : "The landlord also must send you copies of receipts for the charges that the landlord incurred to repair or clean the rental unit and that the landlord deducted from your security deposit. The landlord must include the receipts with the itemized statement."
