After reading bad reviews regarding the apartment complex and management I am compelled to write a review in defense. I have lived here for over two years and have not had a bad experience. As with any apartment complex there is good and bad which in my opinion cannot be constituted or blamed on poor management. Everyone who rents an apartment owes a certain responsibility to the apartment community to be courteous and respectful to others who live here as is the friends and family they invite to the complex. I have seen minor incidents such as an occasional late night party or too much noise at the pool area that has promptly been handled by the apartment manager (Who lives on sight) As for the unsafe living conditions, well I myself have always felt safe and secure here and have not had anything happen to threaten my security. As for the other issues raised in some of the reviews such as mold on the windows and windows put on backwards. I think a little bleach and water never hurt anyone and is a normal cleaning habit for most people. Black mold can happen in any home that is not properly ventilated or if you fail to properly air out your apartment. (I myself have not experienced the mold problem) Maintenance has quickly addressed any issues that have arisen in my apartment. Only draw back I can think of is the laundry rooms are promply locked down at 10 pm. This has been a problem for me at times because of my work schedule. I have never noticed broken machines or vagrants vandalizing them for quarters. Occasionally a dryer will not heat and this is promptly handled and refunds are given when requested. The apartments are set off the main road which makes them quiet and has excellent access to the American River Bike Trail. They are also close to many ammenities and most are walking distance. I wouldn't live anywhere else and plan on staying another two years or longer.

This sounds like someone trying to brown nose the manager. The mold is not from poor cleaning habits as it was inferred in the review, it is from the condensation that is always on the windows because they are not insulated and cheap. I have never lived anywhere that I had to wipe the condensation off my windows every day. You can see the evidence of vagrants by noticing the pry marks on the washers. Renters beware.
