It's okay

I was really excited upon moving in -- until I moved into my lovely new apartment to find that I had no hot water. Had to call both management and the utility service company only to find that my hot water heater was defective and had to be replaced by the complex. Secondly, many of the electrical outlets in the unit didn't work. And on top of that, I had ridiculous issues with the water, garbage, and sewage provider. Needless to say, moving in was a bit of a hassle. Once everything was taken care of, I can say I really began to enjoy living here ... that is until residents were being robbed by gunpoint and peoples' cars were sitting on jacks because their tires were stolen. I was told upon moving in that a gate would be installed soon. The most that's been done (at least from what I can see) is the addition of a Pocket security truck that is parked near the "crime scene". The only person I've seen in it is past the point of middle-aged. It's been several months and to no avail! I see more and more kids running around the complex and some unsavory characters occupying the units. Good points include 1) Nice, comfortable units, 2)friendly staff, and 3) parking is decent. It's not a horrible place to live at all, but there are some things that you might want to be mindful of.
