Liars and incompetents From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/10/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   1) Parking is ridiculous. Too few spaces, each apartment is issued 2 passes regardless of the number of tenants or bedrooms (3 tenants in a 3-bedroom apartment' One of you is SOL, they told me). Management said, with a considerably snippy attitude, "You are the first person to complain, we haven't heard any other complaints." I knew for a fact that several people had complained before me. 2) Management is incompetent and criminal. Dannette was the only courteous and efficient agent, and she was fired or resigned soon after I moved in. I moved in largely on the basis of a $300 rebate based on a referral from friends who lived there, and was persuaded to sign a longer lease to get the rebate. They stalled me for months, saying the check would be forthcoming. Now they say there is no proof of the rebate ever being requested, essentially cheating us out of $300. 3) Management is rude and unhelpful. Not to be confused with the security, maintenance, and grounds staff, which I have found to be competent and courteous. Managers have left me waiting at their desks for long periods of time while they attend to personal phone calls, then give terrible service with execrable attitudes. They provide no effective services at all. 4) Apartments are in a poor state of repair. I know of tenants with water leaks in their bedrooms, and the management refuses to admit the existence of the problems even when provided proof in the form of photos. 5) I have heard they are cheating people out of their entire deposits, regardless of the amount of repairs. 6) Crime is a problem. Cars have been vandalized, there have even been instances of people being robbed at gunpoint by the pool area. The management refuses to admit the existence of any problems, lying to our faces. This complex is awful; I was lured in by the low prices, and the management seemed competent for a short time, but then the entire staff changed, and now they are essentially sleazy hucksters.
