Advice from one who remembers the days when it was nice: RUN!!

What new/recent tenants, & several "anonymous" (read: management)posters, who are writing the "go easy on 'em, it's not that bad" &/or "it's great, just fine, etc." posts are not taking into consideration when writing their reviews is that several/many of us have lived at Riverview Ranch since at least 2000, or in several cases even longer. We remember what the place USED TO BE LIKE before the current batch of goons (oops, I mean office management/staff) came on board.
The complex was clean, quiet, well-kept, had a high percentage of professionals (be they singles, families or retirees)living here (Nick Toma from Good Day Sacramento being just one example) & the office staff was not only friendly, polite & competent, but they offered far, far more services for the money we pay then they do now (things such as dry cleaning drop-off & pick up, mail drop off in the office -- for those not comfortable leaving things in the outdoor boxes -- full concierge services for corporate/business rentals, 24-hour security that patrolled the entire complex on foot instead of just sitting around in their vehicle with their lights going, to name a few). These days just calling the office to ask if you have had a package delivered is met with a heavy sigh and stubborn beligerence about getting up to go look, despite the fact that notices are not always -- or even usually -- put in the mailboxes, or in the correct mailboxes!
Basically, those of us who have lived here long-term are seeing the level --& the quality -- of services provided go down quite dramatically while the rental rates have continued to go up (with the exception of some members of the maintenance staff such as Pedro, who is always friendly & efficient & gets things done right the first time... why he wasn't made the new manager of the maintenance staff is beyond me)... so, we are actually getting less & less for our money overall!
Those who have been saying that the office staff is rude, anti-tenant (particularly long-term, good & responsible tenants) and incompetent are RIGHT!! Those who are saying that the grounds are looking ill-kempt, slovenly & shabby are RIGHT!! Those who are bothered by the large numbers of NON-RESIDENTS (usually teenagers & college-age kids) who drive in -- often after hours -- to use our facilities (pool, gym & sauna) as some sort of community center are RIGHT!!
And the worst part is that any attempts to address these issues with the management company directly are disregarded as well. The bottom line is that the people currently managing this property -- from the executives at the management company to the managers/staff in the office -- just DON'T CARE about the happiness, security or comfort of their tenants... all they care about is their own bottom line.

You couldn't have been more right on everything you said. What a shame corporate hasn't taken notice of the crazy antics at this place and cleaned house. Everyone needs to be fired. The joke is, if you are unhappy with the office staff which many are, they refuse to give you a number to the corporate office to speak with someone other than them. "They like to take care of their problems in house" --------!!! I suggest if anyone has the good fortune to somehow obtain a phone number to corporate to post it on site and on here for all the suffering tenants at this dump to have someone else to contact!!!!

Everything that has been written here is true. Where are Dannette, Andy, and Louise. They were the nicest staff that ever worked at Riverview. They knew what customer service was about. They cared about the residents and did their job too. You want to call corporate, it's not a secret. It's Stonesfair Management and the corporate office is in Burlingame, CA. The number is 800-699-2842. Ask for Mary Ann Fair or Carl Baktiari, they are the big honchos. Good luck getting through, the receptionist screens and blocks all calls. Try writing to: Stonesfair Manangement 800 Airport Blvd #502, Burlingame, CA 94010. Good Luck. Maybe someone will get to talk to someone that cares.

Corporate-Stonesfair knows all this and just does not care unless your rent is late. The new regional(Big Mama- you know who she is!) got everyone fired or she forced them to leave basically, and that is exactly what corporate wanted. They like the rude unprofessional management style vs. the friendly, can I do anything for you style. Take it to corporate, and they will give you the same attitude as what is in the rental office. Now you know what the company is really all about! Your money! Read some other reviews of their once owned property Arioso in Cupertino, CA. Those ratings are the same, and guess what, same regional overlooked it before it was sold! HQ's is just stupid, and its their fault their company is going downhill and will regret it.
