Decent apartments, poor management & maintenance for your money

Apartments are nice and spacious, but as the rents rise the occupancy has gone up and the management is letting little problems develop into big ones. Trash is always overflowing, not enough parking, buildings have not been painted in years, rules are not enforced and there are a lot of children and large dogs. Also, with all of the new development in the area all of the feral river cats have been displaced and have no place to live, except in the creek behind the units as well as the dumpsters. The two years I lived there I saw more tiny kittens run over in the parking lots that made me physically ill. Nothing was ever done, such as contacting Animal Control, SSPCA, Happy Tails or Friends of Cats to help these poor displaced cats out. Just disgusting,
About 75% of the lease agreements I signed were never enforced (and I kept track along with photos), so I was able to get our of my lease early because they never held up their end of the deal and I felt like the place was going to hell without any enforcement.
For the price I paid, it just wasn't worth it at all. Packages were never delivered to me, and if they were left in the front office, the girls never knew where they were. I think they all only worked there to flirt with the tennats and find potential dates. I can't tell you how many times I went to the office for something and both office girls were in the sauna or their gym with a tenant.
Watch out trying to get your full deposit back - they'll nickle and dime you down to nothing flat. Some of the items on my list were completely fabricated! I didn't even own a cat, yet they said they had to remove two areas of the carport and repalce them because of pet stains. I HAD NO PETS NOR GUEST PETS EVER. Riverside is money-hungry, greegy place to live. I lived there over a year, yet the charged me to repaint the unit - which is against the CD law. From my $980 deposit I received $195 back.

I'm so glad I didn't end up renting there. They tried to scam another 500 out of my wife and I before move in even though we had signed off on the move in costs.
They saw how much we made and my credit and decided to try for more up front. Do not rent from this complex. They are bad all around.
