Pretty OK place, if you ask me!

I read the reviews, saw the negative things people were saying... then I visited the property and saw the apartments. HUGE! The best floorplans, hands-down. SUPER QUIET! The walls and floors have extra insulation, I'm told, and I almost never hear my neighbors, even the ones with kids.
So, here's my unbiased opinion: The good & bad.
The Good: Central location, large floorplans for excellent price, washers/dryers in units, want an over-the-range microwave' Just ask!, gas ranges (hard to find these days), adequate storage, easy freeway access, close to Two Rivers Elementary (Great School!) and Leroy Greene Middle School (OK school), 5 minutes from IKEA, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Target, etc, etc! Near Discovery Park (2 miles), bike trails, and boat launches/fishing. Great park a block away with a skateboard park for all, playground, soccer fields and Tennis courts - Pretty friendly and approachable staff. They seem responsive and fair. Sam is a great maintenance guy, and they all know people by name, how can you fault that' They even put up with my kids and others running amok, asking for cookies/water, and they keep an eye on things to the best of their ability. OH, and whatever the whiner said about parking and kids - yeah, they must've been 85 and been a complete pain-in-the ass to view the place that way.
The Bad: Parking is OK, could be better... but I've NEVER been forced to park on the street. Never had my car broken-into, but have seen the police there on occasion (Um, they're APARTMENTS, people! Gonna have some issues if there are that many people in one space at the same time. sheesh!)
I did have my car towed once, but that was my own fault. I paid my money and learned a lesson. There is a rather high turnover of staff and management in the office. I've been there almost 2 years and have seen 3 managers & LOTS of staff fly-by.
Be prepared fo kids - of all ages. This isn't necessarily a "bad," but just be aware. Teenagers will do teenager stuff. Adolescents will do adolescent stuff, etc. They play wall-ball in the parking lots, ride bikes, play hide & seek, & run-amok. They're kids! Just be aware. The teens have drama queens, jocks, "my baby's daddy's" and the usual stuff - It's NOT out of control, it just is there.
There has been construction going-on since I moved-in. No one is kidding or exaggerating about that! Every day. I haven't been too bothered by it, but I suppose you find yourself with lots of free time on your hands, It could get really annoying (or if you work nights).
They are pet friendly, but if you're one of those who think animals have as many or more rights than people, prepare for some smack-down. According to state law, pets are Property, not members of the family. So if little Schnoogums likes to go with you to the pool & yap at everyone & get in their faces, then Schnoogums will be banned, and you may be too. Pick up the crap! Don't let your animals piss on cars & people's porches! Have some decency and respect, and you will have it in return.
Cats: OK, this is my MAJOR beef with this place. It is overrun with cats. Wild cats, people's cats. Freakin' CATS! All dogs must be leashed, but HELL NO on cats! What is up' AND, there is an unused sand box at one end of the complex, and you guessed it! It's a 30 foot by 15 foot litter-box.
So, I'm moving (out of necessity - job/kids) in a month, but I would still recommend this place to anyone. It's always quiet (enough), clean, and family friendly. I know all my neighbors and they know me and my boys. They tell me if the squirts are acting-up, and I act appropriately. I respect their space and they respect mine and the fact that I have kids & they need to release some energy now & then. All good.
So, if you've raised your kids right, the office ladies will adore them and share jokes, cookies & even swap CD's & Yu-Gi-Oh! cards... If you are a prude or old codger or you have bratty crappy kids, then you will treated accordingly as well.
Just come-in, feel the welcome & welcome others - you'll do just fine & love your stay, however long.

I have lived here for almost a year now, and I really like them too. These are the best apartments I have lived in. Again, they are apartments, there are going to be problems, and if you don't like them, buy a house!
