I have lived in this apartment complex for 6 years through many, many changes without positive improvements. What I would like a prospective tenant to know (as I move out) is that the management is unfriendly, predjudice, and that when you request something whether it is maintenance or information, it is slow and unanswered. You must follow-up several times before you receive an answer. Hours for the office change without notification. Eye sores such as unregistered cars remain in view and take up valuable car space. We are assigned parking spots and are required to hang a "I.D" in our car. But, many times you can see cars without this in their cars at night after the 10:00 curfew. Your rent payment goes to a towing service that tours the parking lot (and does not) stop to check for cars that do not belong to the tenants. Their lack of firmness in these matters goes highly noticed such as the case of satellite dishes. Recently,a notice went to all tenants who had satellite dishes for their apartment. The letter stated that all satellite dishes would be removed if they were "attached" to the building, and needed to be placed in a tripod. It was a stern and firm 3 day notice, yet no one complied and satellite dishes still remain. Again, no follow up on their part. During the summer, kids outside of the apartment complex come to use the swimming pool. On several occasions, I have seen the teens from Leroy Green middle school get off the school bus (which lets them off in front of the apartments) then walk into the complex and right to the pool. My children have friends who they see at school swimming in the apartment pool--and we'ren't invited! Some of the tenants that have dogs do not pick-up after them, and I have seen them take their pets across the street to Sally Hudson park to poop. Disgusting. There was a notice that went out about feeding stray cats. People still do, and nothing has been done about it. One of my neighbors recently moved who had 2 dogs, and I notice that they did not replace the carpet, but only had it steamed cleaned. There is more, but not enough time to write it down. I am off to a new complex which I have checked out both during the day and night--I fell safer, more comfortable, and RESPECTED.

Just a couple of notes on this comment. First of all, we have lived here for almost a year, and have had nothing less than a wonderful experience. The office staff has always been friendly to us and have always been prompt to fix any problems within our apartment. Also, about the stray cat problem. Yes, since we moved moved in there has been a great increase in stray cats, BUT they are not being fed by anyone here at the apartments. We recently had a run-in with the "cat lady" and she thinks it is her duty to feed them. Unfortunately, she has no license plate numbers but she lives in the neighborhood somewhere and there is nothing that apartment management can do about this. The towing company is ridiculous though. We had our car towed one night because our tire was in the "red" zone and there was nothing that we could do with it. Oh and one last note, the taxi company that lives here takes up a lot of the open parking spots, I think they should have to park their "extra" cars on the street like everyone else.

How ignorant can management be? Consider this, the pool isnt open until 1000am, yet Crystal Springs lets the landscape company and maintenance workers start hammering and fire up the leaf blowers at 700 am. Now tell me management has the best interest of tenants in mind! Its typical management. Tell people not to do something whether its 1,3 or 5 times. The problem is theres no consequence. Its not enforcement if theres no consequence. This is all a product of the "Mellenials" being raised. They were children first, now in adulthood, cant deal with life, taking medication while there kids run them. How ignorant can management be? Consider this, the pool isnt open until 1000am, yet Crystal Springs lets the landscape company and maintenance workers start hammering and fire up the leaf blowers at 700 am. Now tell me management has the best interest of tenants in mind! If you read about them, you will see they were children in contests having no winners or losers, or in competitions where everyone won. Nobody lost. The mellenial are now adults in the workforce, some managing businesses, including apartment complex's. The working "mellenial" does as little as possible, and has no work ethic. They think they can do whatever they like with no consequence and that everyone owes them. Look up the term "Mellenial" on google or other search engine for more information.
