Nice place to live

I loved my floor plan! I had a 1 bedroom with a den and 1 1/4 bath unit that was upstairs with vaulted ceilings. I loved it. There was a stackable washer and dryer, a window over the kitchen sink, a fireplace. I sometimes wished for full size washer and dryer, but it still beat a laundromat!
The complex was always quiet. The leasing agents were super nice.
My biggest complaint was parking because it is not assigned. I never had to park on the street, but I sometimes had to park an fair distance away from my apartment. Also in the far eastern part of the grounds, the walkways were poorly lit, and I stepped on a lot of snails.
Otherwise, you can't beat the location. It's near the river. You can ride your bike along the levy, down along the railroad tracks south to the little town of Freeport... or beyond if you choose. There is a nice Bel Air and Longs right accross the street. The trees are beautiful.
It's a great place to live if you don't mind the commute into downtown. I-5 gets bumper-to-bumper during rush hour, but it's hard to get away from that no matter where you choose.

I agree with this review...I have a similar floor plan..1 bed with a den...the nice thing about this complex is that it is always quiet during the weekdays..the weekends tends to get a little noisy..but it doesn't bother me much..there are a handful of cats though...in the side of the complex that i lived in..it was quiet because it's a crowd of older people and i always see old people walking around with their dogs...unassigned parking has its ups and downs...but i'd never had a problem finding parking...
