Moved here sight unseen from the midwest. Glad I only signed a 6 month lease; it's a great place if you don't like peace and quiet. I live on the first floor, and the ceiling is so thin, same with the floor in the apartment above me. There is a family above me who have a few kids who love to run around, so from about 7am till around 10pm, there is a constant thumping noise coming from the upstairs. From 10pm on, there is so much noise coming from the other neighbors it's rediculous. Parties, people blasting thier car and home sterio systems, people will walk on the grounds at 2am and yell to their friends accross the complex at the top of their lungs, they just don't care. Car alarms constantly going off, the list goes on and on. It's completely gheto. Ask management to do something for you and they act like they're going out of their way to do you a favor. Like it's not their job. The rent is cheap, but there is a reason for it. Cheap cabinets, cheap flooring, cheap countertops, cheap appliances, thin walls, the list goes on and on. I can't wait to move out. Only a few months left.

I thank you all for the honest comments on this place, because I live in Tennessee and my husband and I are looing to relocate to California, but after last night when I got into this website and start to read the comments on behalf of tenants and MY GOD! How tranquil is where I live. I wont lie to you when I say this, I made a list of prospective apartments and I ended up crossing out every single one. I believe ALL of you when I read your comments and take these comments very seriously because thanks to you all who take the time to write down your bad experience will prevent me from falling into the, the same horrible nightmares that you all are living in, very unfortunately. Now, I need your all help, where do you recommend me to live or rent? Any suggestions, comments, ideas? I am open! I am thinking about relocating in August, I want to attend California State University in Fresno, Long Beach or Sacramento and I am clueless what to pick, can you guys make some suggestions because I am ABSOLUTELLY STAND by the readings, I can't believe that you are spending your money on IGNORANTS managements and horrible places like these ones, it's not fear to you or anyone, period. Where I live in Oak Ridge, Tennessee I say that I have a bug and they are spraying as my request. There is a 10 o'clock carefew where children are not allow to be on the street without their parents and adults must make quietness after ten o'clock, not loud music is permited after ten and if they do even talk in the balcony, you as a tenant have the right to call the after hours security and HE comes and knock on that door and tell them to cut it out. Tenants do, but this problem is VERY FEW in between, I am not telling you this to make you even more mad and I am sorry if I do, but I am telling you this so you guys know what I am use to live for years and what I spect once I sign in a contract. Everyone, from the cleaning lady to management are very polite and courteous people and if you have a problem you can ALWAYS request a private meeting with our lanlord/management and your matter is always taking care with seriousness and respect.

I am trying to find an apartment for my son to rent as he will be going to school in September2008 29 and I have had the same experience you have had about not finding any place that is reasonably priced without huge problems. Did you find a place? We are considering Natomas Village. $900 for a 2 bed 2 bath 995 sq feet.
