This is a horrible place to live!!
When my roommate and I filled out the application, we reserved an apartment but was not able to see inside due to prior tenants still living there.

Once the applications were filled out, we were promised that our total move-in cost would be $411 [with the move in specials] and once the applications were processed, they told us that the total move in would be $1,012. They stated that this was a discount. W T F'

Once we filled out the paperwork, we had to come back into the office the following week to pay our deposit. The office had no idea that a deposit was to be made and one of the staff members that approved our applications told us that she had to check to see if the apartment we were paying the deposit on was available. O M G!!

We were set to move in on July 8th, we had the days/time off work, a rental truck and friends prepared to help us move in. We came to the office earlier that morning on the 8th to pick up our keys. Once we got the keys, we decided to go into the apartment and found NOTHING had been done and the apartment wasn't clean. [The management told us that our apartment would be CLEAN and ready by the time we moved in - WRONG!!]

Everything was wrong with the place. They did a piss poor job on painting the cabinets in the kitchen. They painted over the original finished cabinets and missed the entire area under the stove vent. The fireplace marble is cracked, the shelving in the laundry/storage area was extremely bent, the counter tops in the bathrooms were horribly scratched, the tubs were dirty, the blinds weren't changed, the mirrors were/are rusted, the dish washer was installed incorrectly and crooked.
The microwave had mold in it and looked first generation - old, the linoleum had tears and the floor in the kitchen floor was filthy. The dryer lint vent was broken and the outside screens are bent [still nothing has been fixed] even after moving in.

When we asked the management about our options of moving into another apartment, they showed us an apartment that we should've gotten and told us that we would be charged an extra $100 - [NO WAY!]

Forced to move in under the crappy conditions we had to move furniture and boxes around the maintainence and cleaning crew.

I arranged to have my direct tv service moved but found that a tripod can only be on the back patio, not to mention there is a fee of $100 to have the tripod on the back patio [this was not in the lease nor was this ever mentioned to me]

In the end, I could not get my DTV service because my apt. was facing a certain direction that didn't allow me to have the DTV installed. I went with ATT UVERSE [I actually love them]

Were pretty much forced to live in this crappy apartment till our lease is up [May 2010] and I cannot wait till that time comes.

DO NOT MOVE HERE with managment like this!!!
