My family and I lived there for four years between 2000 and 2004 and it was nastiest and most low class place I could ever imagine. First of all, being a married couple with kids, jobs, cars made in the last 10 years and no felony records we were definitely in the minority. The class of people that they let in there is appalling. We are talking about those with no jobs, go to bed at 4 or 5 am....partying all night and drinking and smoking during the day. Often on my own doorstep. The impotent management absolutely refused to do anything about this even though it was shown to them that there were twice the amount of people living in these particular units than were on the lease. I read a response to a review where someone said that management can do nothing about the crime....bullshyt! If they started evicting people who caused the problems or had these parties those of us who actually paid our rent (not on section 8) could actually enjoy what we paid for. This ghetto trash was allowed to stay and make me have to hide the things that I would buy. I laughed upon moving out since I was moving into a 6 bedroom half million dollar house in Laguna. What was funny to me was that if the ghetto trash had any idea of what I had inside my apartment, they wouldve kicked the door in! I had the ps2 right when it came out, 3 brand new computers (2 laptops and one desktop) all linked by wireless and thousands of dollars in weapons and various equipment (as I was a martial arts instructor). I am not bragging, but the quality of people living there made us have to hide it....even to the point of hiding our Eddie Bauer or Coach shopping bags when we came from the car because the ghetto trash convention on the sidewalk would take note of what we brought in. The units themselves were alright, the maintenance was horrible as was the management. Upon complaining of the open crack use and drug parties and the 15 people living in the 2 bedroom next door, I was told to just find a way to get used to it. It was hilarious to me as well to see all these homothugs outside yell about all their money (Mo' money Mo' problems) yet were on section 8 and made less in a year than I did in a week. We had to do a bit of creative bookkeeping just to qualify for it. Why then did we move there' Our house sold on short notice and we had to hurry. We stayed only to save money. If you like being surrounded by the trash of the earth and everything that is wrong with our society today then you will love this place! The GREAT news is if youre a crack smoker....you never have to go too far to get it ad if ur an insomniac then this is perfect since the booming of that ghetto trash "music" never ends! PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE IF U ARE A WORKING MEMBER OF SOCIETY!!!! YOU WILL BE A TARGET!!!

Oh my god you are such a self righteous ass!! I moved from the bay area years ago to move to Elk Grove because you can get a bigger house for the money at the time. We had to sell our Elk Grove home to pay for Grandma's nursing home. Those Alzheimers homes are about $5000 a month if you can pay for them. This was the first place we could go that allowed large dogs. I pay the rent on time every month with no help from anyone. There are a lot of people with our story and I refuse to be the kind of person to judge the people that live around me based on how much money they have.If you had only mentioned drug use(which I had have not seen), other crimes (once again have not seen), or complained about the management I might have understood where you were coming from. But that laundry list of all the "things" you have and had to hide that makes me want to vomit. I feel sorry for your kids getting those kinds of messages from you. I have met quite a few decent people here that are just trying to make it. Your a sad person.

i have lived in sienna vista for the past 6 months and i am a very hard working member of society with a superb education from a small town to the west of sacramento... a little agricultural town that has almost no crime whatsoever and the majority of people who live there are business owners, professors or students... anyone who lives in northern california should know where i'm talking about.. i do not drink, drug or sell and have no criminal record, was on the honor list every year until i graduated and am currently going to school to be a registered nurse then going on to study business so i can own my own affordable, quality nursing home... anyways coming from there to sienna vista, all i have to say is- I LOVE IT! the facilities may not be the best quality but you get what you pay for right? The PEOPLE however are some of the most respectful i have ever met, as long as u don't approach them with a demeanor of pompous assness. The way they are treated by other members of society is appalling, even if there is drug use and sales, they are probably doing it to support themselves and members of their family. Lets not forget that the "highest class" members of society are addicted to the most insane drugs, SUPPLY ONLY MEETS DEMAND and any WORKING MEMBER OF SOCIETY with half a decent education knows that. There is an extreme sense of family within this complex... it may seem like there are no boundaries simply because if anything happens there everyone knows, but if a child was getting bullied, you better believe someone will step in and defuse the situation at hand. How many people would say anything to an abusive millionaire father living in a multi-million dollar neighborhood?hm hm? These people would. Undoubtedly. The quality of life is horrible for them, but the quality of the people themselves is the quality of kings and queens of the utmost royalty, as honest as you are with them, brave- having no qualms about risking their lives so they and their family can survive, respectful- putting out as much respect as an individual gives to them,loyal- once you are a friend or even considered family; one needs not to fear about anything, or anybody because you are supported and also held to high standards. I could live in these apartments for years with no fear of stolen property or vandalism. I do not use the amount of my networth or anyone else's to determine what kind of person i/they am/are. So Mr. Ben Armato, as i'm sure you have already done society and my friends a favor by moving out of The Vista, would you be ever so gracious take your ps2, 3 brand new computers, thousand dollars in weapons and various equipment, Eddie Bauer/Coach bags, newer cars, your 6 bedrooms, half a million dollar house and shove it up your soft tush....And may i please also say that foul language and put downs of any kind are simply distasteful and unclassy.. Oh and as one last point- u had thousands of dollars of WEAPONS in your APARTMENT.. and u have KIDS??? I would have called CPS, that is child endangerment, rent a storage unit, my goodness!
