Best place we found

Looked around at a lot of places, including fun Midtown studios (too many homeless people) to the complexes near Sac State, but this one was just right. Small so that the management knows your name. Everyone that lives there was very nice and quiet, lots of families. For what we paid ($915, first month half off) and what we got (over 900 square feet, 2 bed 1.5 bath) it was excellent. Well-maintained, but I sure didn't like the leaf-blowers every Saturday morning at 9 am...I am a college student.
Fully gated but there were still security problems. It's patrolled well and I really don't think there's much more that can reasonably be done, but the police helicopter was always flying around telling us to stay inside...but that's just the area. Safest I could find for the price. I even referred a friend there, and she loves it too.
We had some leak problems, but managment was really good at fixing anything we needed.
But a pet deposit is crazy high! $500 per cat or small dog!
