Too Expensive After New Management/Owners From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/22/2004 Years at this apartment: 1991 - 2003   Shortly after new management/owners took over, I noticed a tremendous increase in the number of people moving out of our complex and my rent was increased over $350. As a long time resident, I was disheartened to learn I would no longer be able to afford my "home." I never imagined such a large spike in my rent would force me to leave behind a place I loved for so long. This upset me to know that after 12 years I had to pay the same rent for my 12 year old appliances, carpet, paint and vinyl flooring as someone just moving in.
