Too over priced for the area...
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 5/29/2009
Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
Our rent was $990.00 per month for a 2 bedroom/2 bath cottage. The rent would go up $50 everytime our lease ended and they would tell us if we didn't sign a new lease there would be an additional $100 to go month to month. Not to mention the additional $50-$60 per month for the water bill. Too over priced for the area and quality of apartments!
The appliances were in very poor quality....
The knob on our oven came off and they probably took one from another unit and glued it on, but it still came off. We had to use pliers to turn to the oven on/off, and we never knew what the temp was. One time I was baking a chiken and my entire glass plater just shattered in the oven. Real fire hazardous!
When we first moved in we complained about the dishwasher door not closing properly. We literaly had to lift and slam the door shut, but they wouldn't replace it because it was an older model and that there would have to be smoke coming out of it for them to replace it.
The heater and a/c never worked!!! We complained about it several times and each time they would come out and say everything was working properly. But it wasn't! One winter it got so cold the maintinance worker brought us two portable heaters to use. Now what does that say about the upkeep of the apartments'
Also, a few months before we moved out there was a memo sent to residences warning everyone of a peeping tom in the complex.
