I moved here in May of 07, and was drawn in by the nice grounds and apartment. Sadly this place is not safe at all. I still reside here, but only because I can't pay the exorbitant ransom to break the lease. Last night, 7/26/07, there were squads of police next door at the gas station where a robbery and violent crime took place.
Only a month ago, a police helicopter warned of a murder and cautioned everyone to stay inside their homes. Before that, across the street at the bank inside the SaveMart, was a bank robbery.
I myself had my wallet stolen out of my car the day I was moving in.
It Is Not Safe. It's only a matter of time before something happens (for me, again) within the gates to this place, and it will be something serious.
