The units are cute, the rent is reasonable, but it's not worth it. The neighbourhood is slightly nicer than a demilitarised zone. The nieghbours, with a few exceptions,are noisy and inconsiderate. The neighbourhood kids seem top have nothing better to do than destroy everything around them. The units are well past their prime and in desperate need of renovation; a fact that seems to completely escape the notice of management. Single-pane windows and ageing wall insulation conspire to ensure than heating and a/c bills are a painful experience. The plumbing in particular is in bad shape - our shower leaked into our downstairs ceiling causing extensive water damage and mold - a problem which pre-existed our arrival at the community. Management is not very pro-active in resolving any issues. It took a week to get our ceiling looked at and another week to complete the repairs. The office staff are a prime example of what not to do in customer service. They were great when it came to getting us in, but nowhere when we needed them, right up to the day we left. On a positive note, the complex is directly adjascent to the Sac River. But so are lots of other communities. Do yourself a big favor and live some place else!!
