Honest Review From: jimbob2003 Date posted: 4/24/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   I actually like living here when it comes to the actual apartment, but there are some issues that have made me want to move out. Although I probably won't move out anytime soon, these issues would have prevented me from moving in if I had known about them at the time. 1. I have a garage that is literally more than 1/4 mile from my apartment. I have been on the waiting list for a year. The last time I asked the management about it they said there was no waiting list....not too promising. 2. Due to the "lake", or pond, behind the comnplex, there are way too many pigeons (or whatever they are). They crap all over everything and they sit on my window sill and make noise, waking in up on my much cherished sleep in days. 3. There is no parking!!!! This is the major issue. Regardless of what anyone says in response to my review, I advise you to stop by around 9:00 on any given night and see if you can find a parking place, particularly on the north side. There are always cars in the red-zones and in the disabled parking (illegally) because there is nowhere else to park. ....and remember, there are no garages available on the north side if you think that will solve your concern. 4. Once again regarding the north side, they never close the gates. So much for a "gated" community. 5. I rarely here my neighbors, but people who are in the parking lot can be heard easily at night. Generally not a problem. 6. Generally speaking, the management is not pleasant to deal with here. After one year they suddenly decided they have a problem with my satellite dish mounting. They forced my to buy a tripod. Coincidentally, Comcast recently took over the service here (like 2 weeks earlier). I am willing to bet that Comcast pressured Tuscaro or gave them a kickback. Regardless, the management was not pleasant when I tried to discuss this with them.
