We have lived here for a few months and for the most part, we like the apartment. However, while the pigeons building nests all over might entertain my cat, they are nothing but annoying to us. There are bird droppings all over and the neighbors let their dog do business all over the lawn. Parking is horrible! If you are not parked by 11:00am, you will most likely not get a spot at all. Some cars get towed immediately, while others park in fire lanes for days at a time. The management has been 50-50. Angela seems very nice and helpful, or at least trys to be, the other office staff (including the manager) have horrible people skills. The "gated community" does not work the way it should. Half the time the gates don't work, so if you don't have a clicker... you can't call in. People sit outside the gate and wait for someone to go through and then follow. It is no wonder there is no parking. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone, it is too expensive for the numerous problems and inconviences you experience. We are waiting out our lease and then leaving ASAP.

A word of advice: Before you leave, make sure you request inspection of your unit by the representative of the manager and in your presence. If you don't do this, the manager will send you a check list stating that you left the apartment in "dirty condition" and gouge you for phony cleaning and painting charges. I am talking from experience. Do not allow the manager to cancel the inspection once it is scheduled and it should be before your lease is up.

Leaving Tuscaro is not the end of the story. Tuscaro has a collection agency which religiously sends harassing collection letters to make you pay for something that the management is responsible for. That way, they also keep your security deposit. I am not kidding. Take this advice seriously.
