i have lived there for 1.5 years, apartment facing the small lake.
1) parking is terrible, . i got 1 garage which costs and 1 other vehicle. since I moved to this place, i got 3 parking tickets since there was no space at all even when you come back from work at 5pm. not even outside the gate near the office build. ok, did i mention you can park your car across the street (shopping mall), there are plenty of spaces over there. it is ridiculous.
2) the view of small lake is fine. but geese/birds are annoying. worst in summer time, birds are making noise whole night and the wall and windows is thin and you can enjoy the annoying noise from 2am to 9am non-stopping.
3) ista-na (water,sewer service) charges fixed amount each month without bothering reading your actually meter. On their bill, it is said this amount is estimated!!!
I noticed the problem because for a month, i was out of town and they still charged 50$. and i paid attention to those bills, they overcharged me for a year!!!
I previously rent 2b/2b apts and it cost only half of the money i am currently being charged. the office will accept checks for ista-na. but don't bother to mention this
problem to ista.
4) it is supposed to be a gated community, but gates are left open frequently. also the code is as old as this apartment.
5) in my apartment, hot (or should i say warm) water only lasts for 10 mins or less during winter time.
6) oh, the good thing is it is safe, because police like this place, they like to come and write a ticket for your car. especially during this crisis.
i am glad that i moved out

I have lived here for 1 year and i am very impressed with the changes that have been made here. I live on the south side and we have ample parking. We get 1 assigned spot and then our other car goes in an open spot which we can usually find close to our apartment. Our water, sewer, trash bill isn't fixed either. It fluxuates every month. Our hot water didn't last long either when we first moved in, but we put a call into the office and they just turned up our water heater for us. It has been fine ever since.
