I moved out of there a year ago (thank everybody), but I did not know this site existed, and even though there are 60 other people who share my feelings for the verge, i feel one more could help.
There was a man killed, as you will read below, in this apartment. After the incident, my friend and her lawyer father called the police department, and found out that in the previous year, there was a REPORTED 27 SHOOTINGS from this exact apartment complex, not near by, or down the street, but in the COMPLEX. 27!!!!! in 1 year. Go ahead, let your kids live there. I dare you.
Also, more to think about, there was a gang-bang porno made in one of the apartments. And at the AM/PM on the corner in mid day, my friend was trapped in her car while 4 ----- men jumped on the car and broke all windows and windshield trying to rape her. Other than the obvious, please note that everything everyone previous has said about the complex is completely accurate, the management is students who work there for free rent, so they dont give a ****, and the parking sucks, the bus is always late, and the parties all suck because there is no air conditioning, and chances are the security will break it up within minutes.

that was before but now its a lot better, security got it down and under control. about the parties, you are right but thats because the neighbors complain. overall it a lot better now.

Any one can help me with the Verge??
I am not ameriacan,I have read all of the article with the common to The Verge here.
First I will introduce our situation:
We have 9 persons will go to CSUS during 2008/08/04~2009/05/22,and we used to live in Unversity Villege,but UV said that they have to live in at last for 1 year,that menas we will lost 2 months rents,stiil,UV have us to live in until 2008/08/23,that
means us have to live in Motel6 during 2008/08/04~2008/08/23,but we have no cars in USA,so we must have to choose a place nearing the CSUS,we do not like The loft,so the only choose is [The Verge].
I have some question for [The Verge]:
1.Do they have any lease that we must live at last 1 year?
2.Any other places that we can choose?(but we must go to CSUS everyday,we do not want to spend too much time in transportation.)
3.According to your experience living in The Verge,what should we notice about?I hear that there are some theft in this place?
