The Verge is a horrible place to live! I got my apartment broken into the second week I lived there by the people that lived below me. The managers dont do proper checks on the people living there so most of the apartment complex is criminals. After my apartment was broken into I asked them to move me and they said it would be a $350 charge. WTF!! They let criminals live there, they break in and then they want to charge you to switch. Oh, keep in mind there is pretty much no way to get out of your lease. You have to pay a fee and find someone to take over your lease or they will charge you rent till they find someone to take over. the T.V.'s in the gym break all the time and if your a young girl dont even think about going in there because there will undoubtably be some scary ass guys there asking you your name, number, ect.. The security have guns the place is so bad but it doesnt do the complex any good because the people causing problems there live there! You can't have people over unless you go to the office EVERYDAY and get a guest pass and even then the security will interigate your friends so bad they will never want to come back. They take your friends whole name, what apt # they are going to and even your friends drivers licences on occation. I hope that anyone who reads this will never ever be as dumb as I was to sign a lease with the verge and go live somewhere that is safe, quiet and a ---- hole. PLEASE DONT LIVE HERE!!!!

Any one can help me with the Verge?? I am not ameriacan,I have read all of the article with the common to The Verge here. First I will introduce our situation: We have 9 persons will go to CSUS during 2008/08/04~2009/05/22,and we used to live in Unversity Villege,but UV said that they have to live in at last for 1 year,that menas we will lost 2 months rents,stiil,UV have us to live in until 2008/08/23,that means us have to live in Motel6 during 2008/08/04~2008/08/23,but we have no cars in USA,so we must have to choose a place nearing the CSUS,we do not like The loft,so the only choose is [The Verge]. I have some question for [The Verge]: 1.Do they have any lease that we must live at last 1 year? 2.Any other places that we can choose?(but we must go to CSUS everyday,we do not want to spend too much time in transportation.) 3.According to your experience living in The Verge,what should we notice about?I hear that there are some theft in this place?
