at the verge the most basic floor plan is a for bedroom two bath apartment for 500.00 a month including water, sueage, trash, cable, and internet. you pay gas and electric wich is split between every one living in the apartment wich on average is about 30-40$ for one tenant each month depending on how many pepole are in the apartment(thats in the basic plane)you also pay for phone, which you need to set up your self to activate it, if you dont you dont pay for it. when leasing this plan you are only leasing one of the rooms in that apartment(the room comes with its own key, so you can lock any one you want out) and are sharing one of the batherooms with one roommate and the kichen and living room with the other two that may be living there. the rooms and livig room come furnished. the kichen comes with a microwave, oven, dishwasher, and the washer and dryer thats in the pantrey. you also get access to the pool, coverd outdoor basketball hoop, billureds room, gim, and office wich has computers and a fax and copy machien.

with that said, for the price, this is a very nice complex. in some ways too nice. yes this is a college student targeted complex but there is (from what im told by management) 20% non college students living her and from what i can tell most of that is ------- americans who think there in Miami living like there on a rapers salery. on the weekends it gets prety loud untill 2:00 TO 3:00AM with partys (and some fights) going on, but on the weekdays its quiet enuff to get some quality sleep.

the sacurity her is desant, there are two gards at the front gat in the day time and three at night (i saw one with a 9 millimeter on his hip). at night they mostly stay at the gat but they do walk the complexe a few times a night.

management is deasent also. most of them are college students living here at the verge and are represenatives of the actuale land lord. these are the peapole you usaly first talk to when you first walk in the office, wich can have its downs, but the land lord or some one of equell athority is there suppervising theme.

the aparments, also, desent. there is nothing majorly wrong in my room or apartment. all utillitys are in working condition and the place is relitivly clene except for the walls could use paint and the colking aroud the tub is durty/moldy and there is some spots on the carpet that arn't too notisable but ar still there.

the grounds, are exelent, if you take away the bear bottels and fast food rappers laying around.

the only real problem i'v had besids the loud weekends is the front gate can be confusing to get into and theirs to many spedbumps at the gate

overall if you can get past the loud music from the passing cars and the partys on the weekends, ignore the trash laying around, and the inexperiance of some of the stafe in the office this is very good place to get into and not wory about the leas agrement or geting into arguments or disputs with your land lord, wich for me has mad it easyer to wory about finding a job and focus on school.

How long have you lived in the verge? It really should only take you a week to see how horrible it is in the Verge and regret ever signing your lease. DON'T LISTEN to this PERSON! The verge is the worst place in the world to live and I wouldn't be surprised to find any positive review was planted by management.

Well first let me start by saying that any place you decide to live you will encounter problems when living in an apartment community. The key is how to handle the problems and stay clear of them. College living is going to have loud music especially on the weekends (isnt that what college life is about?) If you see trash help out by picking it up. If everyone pitches in the community will stay clean. Thank goodness the courtesy patrol is there checking everyone and the speed bumps slow the traffic down coming and going. So overall I think this is a great place to live while attending college and it even has alot of great amenities that you will not find any place else.
