Please read before moving to The Verge/The Element. Where to begin' This place is such a complete rip off that it's not funny! Parents and students do not waste your money! SECURITY would be the least of your problems. I lived at the Verge/Element for two years and regret every minute of it. Although the complex "supposedly" has a matching system, they stick you with anyone. The two apartments I had were shared with some of the most disgusting and filthiest creatures I've ever seen. My second apartment was shared with drug addicts and although I complained, nothing happened. I am shocked that no one was killed in my complex because every night young kids were allowed to drink and hang around my complex. I had to call the police because security let them come in. When I had problems with my roommates, I contacted the office and somehow my roommate found out. The apartment was in VERY POOR condition when I moved in: filthy carpet, insect infestation, broken doors, a fire hazard as a stove, UGH JUST PLAIN FILTH....now I'm being charged for conditions that I walked into. And despite my asking for a "walk through" several times to document the conditions of the apartment, I never received one. I was told I left the apartment in "unlivable conditions," but the funny thing is that's how I entered the apartment so I assume they are okay with allowing students to live in poor conditions. I am filing a complaint with the housing authorities because now I'm being charge over $1000.00 for damages and it's affecting my rental history. These people are not willing to listen, unless it's the sound of you writing a check. Management is a joke....they hire young kids to peddle crappy living conditions!!! PLEASE DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!!!!
