My friend and I got taken in by the looks of the apartments and we had initiated the lease agreement, but it wasn't final until the manager signed it. We realized it was just too expensive for us even though it was the perfect location, so we went back the next day and said we no longer wanted to live there. They said it was too late and we countered with the fact that it hadn't been signed yet by the manager. The representative, took our application back and SIGNED IT and brought it back out and had it dated for 2 days ago! We said that she can't do that and she said "it doesn't matter when we sign it." We were shocked. And stuck. We decided to make the best of the overpriced place. We were lured by the no deposit and internet inclusive rent. Before we moved in, we asked them to clean the carpets and straighten them out and she assured us she would. When we moved in the carpet was still gross and there was gunk all over the kitchen and the cabinets were dirty too. It looked like all they had done was paint the walls and vacuum the floor. Then when we moved out, they charged us $300 to clean the apartment that we had left in exactly the same condition and that they had supposedly "cleaned" for us when we moved in! I think they just pay some company some money and pocket the rest. It wasn't even clean when we got there, but they charged us $320 for a 2bdrm apt cleaning!!

I realize this may sound like an isolated incident, but you have to think about the character of the management when you consider to live in this place. The other unbearable thing was that you literally cannot have friends over unless you come pick them up from the security gate and they get the third degree from the guards until they never want to come over again.

Overall, this place is just not worth the money that we paid. Oh, and we happened to be near the pool area when it was cleaned. I saw a guy dumping some bleach into the hot tub.

That said, I will mention the positives to give an accurate picture. Maintenance problems were fixed in a timely manner, the basic internet connection was fairly reliable, the gym is a plus, the location was extremely convenient, and the apartments are fairly quiet. If you're a person who will not be having any friends over and one who has a few extra dollars to spend for the location and quietness of the place, then it may be the place for you. Just be sure before you initiate the application.
