Villagio Apartments

Very disappointed with dishonesty. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/3/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   Hi, I had to vacate a month and half before (January 3, 2008)my lease term (February 15, 2008). After speaking to the manager in the apartment office, I agreed to pay rent until the end of my lease, honoring my contract. I also asked them if they can come to my apartment before vacating for final inspection. This conversation was spoken on December 28, 2007. Both the apartment manager, Tama, and the Asst. Manager Crystal Burnside agreed to do a walk through on the 3rd. Today (the 3rd), when I request them to come for a walk through, they tell me that they cannot do that since my lease ends on February 15. They told me that they were "unaware" of the procedures on December 28, 2007. This cleary leads me to believe that Villagio apartments does not want to do a walk through with me, so that they can claim the deposit entirely. I'm extremely disappointed with the service and dishonesty with the managers at Villagio Appartments, in Sacramento, CA (Natomas Area). They claim to be unaware of the procedures, except at the 11th hour of my departure. Please be careful before you sign the lease
