I moved in here at the beginning of May and so far things are good. I have lived at Medici and also Homecoming and find this place to be much quieter than the other two. I live on the side of the complex facing arena blvd and have never heard a party. Once in a while after work people will come home with their stereos a little loud, but nothing extreme. The maintenance guy is awesome. I have had two requests, the first one was completed in less than one day and the second was done in an hour.
The apartments are well constructed and my apartment stays really cool in the summer, which is awesome. They also paint an accent wall when you move in which is cool. The parking can get bad if you have more than one car. Some people park on the street which seems to be very safe. Some garages have parking spots in front of them (like mine) so you actually get two spots instead of one.
The garage is a nice size for one car and is really deep, and the bathroom and walk-in closets are huge!
The washer is a bit noisy but gets the job done. The windows are nice dual-pane windows and the appliances all work great. This by far the best apartment I have lived in, although it is a bit pricey!
The only downfall besides the parking is the LEASE. Please please read it carefully before signing. Unlike every other place I have lived at, they do not have a lease break option. You are responsible for paying your entire lease to it's end unless you find someone to cosign. Even if you find someone to take your lease over, they do not remove your name from the lease. In my other rentals, I was able to find someone to sign a NEW one-year lease and my name was taken off, but that's not the case here. So be sure you are OK with staying here as long as your lease says you have to, or you will be out quite a bit of money. They also have an option that if you lose your job they will allow you to break your lease, but unfortunately it doesn't cover you if you are self-employed. So I'm stuck here and had to come up with money to pay 1k a month even though I qualify for low-income housing now, which is pretty rough!!!! But other than those lease loopholes, the place itself is great.
