I read the two prior posts and the are so far out there its not even funny!! I am a resident and I have lived at Watercrest Apartments for 2.5 years. I have very nice and clean neighbors next to me and above me. The children's play ground is well kept and although there are teenagers hanging around once in a while I've never seen one hanging out and smoking or anything of the sorts. There are a lot of unattended children, but what can you expect from a lower income apartment' If you're low income this will be one of the NICER places to live compared to most in Sacramento and trust me I have looked.

The staff has been very nice and very attentive to any concerns that I have had. I have seen several fights in the complex though. Usually between adults in different age ranges. Again I say "What do you expect for low income"' Granted the complex isn't entirely low income, there are hard working people in the complex. But in any community, it only takes one or two bad apples to spoil the whole bunch. I would say if you're a single person without children, its ideal for you. As for me, I have a child. My child is not allowed outside unattended, my child cannot roam the complex and hang out with other children.

Lets not blame the management for this stuff. Its the residents. I've complained about things such as parking and fighting and the managers have taken immediate actions so far.

Granted if I could afford another place as nice, I would. My living conditions within my apartment are comfortable and I can't get a nicer apartment in this price range.

As far as security, there as always been security available 24/7. Just like the police department, they get other calls too. But there is security and locking gates that rarely work....Security response time is reasonable in my opinion.. Happy hunting!!

Excusama! Must be a different watercrest, this place is a dump. They never fix anything, they put people with children among the crackheads and hookers. You must be friends with them. Your rent must be $27.00 - thats why you think they are so wonderful. Its too bad you're low income, but there are nicer places out there without the hoodlums and filth. Too bad you can't find one.
