I lived at Windchase for about a year and really have no complaints about the complex at all. The manager is extremely pleasant and very involved with what is going on in and around the complex. There was only one maintenance guy for the complex and he was always on top of any repairs that needed to be taken care of, even if it took a day or two for him to respond, he never forgot about you. The manager also kept her tenants informed of any rent increases/decreases, any sources of power/heat/air/water that were going to be disturbed due to repairs or maintenance and she was always willing to work with the tenants if they couldn't pay rent on time and was willing to work around people's pay schedules. The only one problem I had when I lived there was that when it rained, the rain came through the chimney and leaked into my roommate's closet..causing the carpet to get wet and moldy..BUT..as soon as the manager knew of the problem, the carpet was immediately replaced and taken care of..as well as the chimney. We did, however, have an ant problem sometimes..but again, the manager had people come out and spray and we just kept a can of RAID on tap! No real problems with neighbors, either. The complex is very convenient to shopping centers, a bus line, as well as Highway 50. It's nothing spectacular to look at, but all gardening and landscaping that is part of the complex was well taken care of. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the apartment and would recommend it to somebody looking for a decent place to live.
