I've lived at Windward for almost a year, and it has had its ups and downs. The reason I moved here was because of the great reviews it received on apartmentratings.com. I wasn't familiar with neighborhoods in the Sacramento area, so I was counting on the reviews to find me a good place to live. Overall, I can say that it has been a positive experience, with a few negatives. I love the inside of my apartment. The fixtures, doors, cabinets, etc are fairly new. The only neighbors I hear are the ones that live above me, which is expected. My car did get broken into when I first moved in, but it was partly my fault because I left it packed with bags full of my things overnight. I get scared sometimes when management leaves notes on my door once every one or two months, saying that there have been more break-ins into apartments here through locked front doors. How are residents supposed to feel safe when there are people constantly breaking into apartments and there's nothing they can do about it even if they lock all their doors and windows' I disagree with the last comment about Marge. She has always been very helpful and friendly toward me. She probably treats people like they treat her, so if you are nice to her, she'll be nice to you back. I think she's very sweet. It is rough being a property manager when having to deal with many rude selfish residents, so cut her some slack. I think these are great apartments compared to what else is out there as far as apartment communities. With that said, I do highly recommend these apartments, even with its "downs" because I still believe that these are the best apartments out there in the city of Sacramento comparatively.
