Terrible

I was moving to Salinas in a hurry and this is the place I found. There are 2 building types in Cambridge court, one of them is a decent quadraplex-type building, the other is a horrific dorm-like structure. I lived in the latter. It had about 10 apartments sharing a communal hallway.
The noise was absolutely terrible. There are loads and loads of kids playing around all day long, their parents don't watch after them. The kids destroyed much of the landscape while I was there. I regularly complained about neighbors to the staff and to the cops. It got so bad that I had a journal of incidents with photographic evidence to go along with some of it.
They claim strict parking enforcement, and yet people parked in my spot all the time without any action on their part. Also, my spot was a considerable distance from my apartment.
It is a "gated community", where the gates are broken half the time. Usually they were broken open, but sometimes they were broken closed. Don't think, even for a second, that the gate actually helps with anything. My car got broken into within a month of moving in.
Don't lean anything against the walls, the paint adheres to stuff and comes right off.
The staff was always receptive to my complaints, however they seemed unable to keep up with much of it.
If it was so bad, why did I live there so long' Year-long contracts on some of my services, like DSL, heh. Oh yeah, and it was relatively inexpensive until the end.
