---- was the manager when I rented an apartment here Oct. 2005 to Aug. 2006. -------- is the assistant and pretty mutch under her thumb. In December of 2005 my roommate could not pay his half of the rent. Instead of letting me know and allowing me to cover his half (which wouldn't have been a problem since up until then we had been childhood friends-- not lovers) he forged one of my checks... He signed it with my name. The handwriting was a scrawl compared to my own.

He took it to ---- and she CASHED it! Now, since we were new tenants I wouldn't have had issues with this either... but she keeps a book full of photocopies of every rent check she has ever recieved. Each apartment has its own individual folder. She had at least four checks to compare it to.

I notice my bank account is overdrawn by hundreds of dollars. I do the math and it is exactly for half the rent. I go directly to her office and demand to know what the hell is going on.

She says. "Oh, I knew that check was funny but you needed to pay the rent anyway... she should be careful. I bet your husbands running around on you if he's forging your checks." She then shows me the book of photo copies.

Be warned... the owners of this property did nothing to this ----- and never once responded to my calls. When you have issues with ---- she will give you a number that goes directly to an "opinion box" for the entire community. I had to track down the owners on my own.

She also never fixed anything, ever, and refused to change the locks on my doors after I was assaulted by a co-worker towards the end of my lease. She argued it would clash with the apartment design...

This person speaks the truth 100% about ---- Silva the lowest class cow in the apt. business by far! She allowed a family of 5 people with a full size piano to move into an upstairs apt. at Cypress Landing and let their kids run WILD and slam doors, run water all hours of the day and night for 2 and 3 hours at a time, stomp on the floors, scream and laugh at the top of their lungs upstairs in their apt. with all the doors and windows wide open. Repeated complaints to an answering machine "suggestion" phone number (NEVER responded to answering machine)only aggravated an impossible situation at Cypress Landing Apts. of illegally parked cars for months at atime (permit only limited parking), constant noise 24 hours a day, ----, the Manager sitting at the pool all day long smoking cigarettes and telling you she hasn't had time to take care of your maintenance request and that she was looking into it because she thought it is against "Company" policy....the Company being the answering machine "suggestion box", AKA BRoadway Management in San Ramon, California who lies through their teeth to you when you try to get them to do what THEY put in the lease! Do not ever rent an Apartment form ---- Silva, Broadway Management in San Ramon, California or Cypress Landing Apartments in Salinas, California !!
