i have lived in cypress landing for almost a year and it is not really all that bad. i moved out to california from michigan for work and had to find an apartment very quickly, i am lucky that i found a place as nice as cypress landing on such short notice. i have needed a couple of repairs done, but they were handled promptly. the fluorescent lighting is sketchy though, sometimes it takes more than 5 seconds for the light to come on after the switch is flipped. the water is kind of gross... sometimes it smells very strongly like chlorine and there are a lot of calcium deposits on the shower. and my unit is near the street, so noise is a constant problem. can't beat the price for the square footage though. all in all, it's a decent place to live... you could definitely do a lot worse for the same money in salinas.
