Everyone has opinions and here is mine. The complex at first look is very inviting. However, if something really does go wrong, it takes forever to get anything fixed. The staff is generally unavailable.
GYM
I enjoy the gym, however, the mats were stolen, at least one piece of equipment is usually broken, never any water in the cooler, folks let kids play on equipment and I've seen staff purposely bypass the gym when they were showing the complex, probably because of the kids running around or the out of order signs on the equipmen. Over the first few months of 2005, I personally saw three cars towed, assumed they were repossessions. Hint, hint
POOL
The pool is overrun with kids on the weekend and I'm pretty sure they don't live there since they ask you to let them in. And in line with the pool, I find it hard to believe it is heated. Kids with diapers in the jacuzzi, kids in the pool area alone. Not cool. My main issue is the pool was shut down first week of September to fix the jacuzzi, resurface the pool and bring in new chairs (Closed for 6 weeks in the hot season). Now, I'm not the brightest bulb, but Sept-Oct is the hottest time of the year. The pool was suppose to be closed for 6 weeks and that was 8 weeks ago. The jacuzzi is broken at least every other month. But with diapered kids playing in it, I'm not going in.
PARKING
Don't see the apartments full in the area I live in, but sure can't find a parking place after 6:00pm.
NOISE
Kids riding skateboards through the breezeway is just dangerous. I find it interesting that people with kids are generally put on the third floor in a building with people without kids. Small kids on the third floor are very loud.
FINALLY
I've been here 2 years. Over the past 6 months, people seem to be moving out late and night and more often. I've had 3 neighbors come and go in the last 6 months, one left because of the noise. The caliber or renters appear to be different than when I first rented. I'm outta here.
