P1 tennants and neighbors beware

I moved into the P1 (corner) unit of this apartment in May 2007. By the end of that July, we had been burglarized TWICE. Be wary of teenagers watching you move in... they are casing the joint, I promise you. They bicycle and loiter around the complex, observing your habits, and then they clean you out.
I have never left a place so soon after moving in, but I no longer felt safe there. A coworker of mine has lived there in a different part of the complex for a year and a half and has no real complaints... but please be wary of what unit you move into here.
Make VERY certain you have renter's insurance... and be prepared to fight management hard if you feel you deserve to be let out of your contract early.

Haha. Wow - I didn't realize that people "deserve" to be let out of their contracts early. Broken into twice??? Ever think it had something to do with you and not the apartment? Sounds like a vendetta to me...

The robberies were all business and had nothing to do with us, personally. (I saw the kids myself the first time.) We hadn't lived there long enough to make enemies of anyone, much less kids from the 'hood. We just happened to have stuff they wanted and the right kind of access, unfortunately.
