Looks may be deceiving...

Castle Park Apartments....
At first glance, this place is very appealing to the eye. But as the title reads, looks may be deceiving. It can get really loud here in the mornings. There's nothing fun about waking up early on a weekend to the sound of a lawn-mower or the many workers who frequent this apartment complex. The trade off, you get a nice lawn, but in my opinion way too much noise for the price to live here.

I remember the first time I saw them working on the parking lot, I saw by command, tow trucks taking peoples cars away. I don't know where they were going but sure would have hated to gone away for a couple days visiting family and come back to find out that they had taken your car somewhere.

Again, there is just too much hassle to live here. There are three gates, yet only one opens. In order for this gate to be open you need to type in the code 007 style to get access. Instead of it being cool to have a digital gate like this, it just gets annoying day in and day out of always typing in a code. Besides, its pointless. Anyone can just wait for someone else to open it for them, it ends up being a long hassle and if the person in front of you doesn't know the code. Its usually you getting out of your car (for me after a long day) and punching the code in for someone else. I just want to get on with my life you know.

Also, there are way too many notices on my door. One's for painting, parking, construction. Its my pride and joy to wake up with a sign on my door, warning me of the expected construction. It didn't say on the letter that it was going literally cause my ears pain. I had to leave once, it was that bad for me.

The place is also very large and although pretty decently lit at night, there are many dark places that would make anyone feel uncomfortable. They do have a security guard who "patrols" the area, but with notices posted on doors by the police department warning us of a possible armed robbery in our community. Needless to say, after this had happened it was a lot different going outside at night.

This one gets me above all the rest, when you get a sign on your door letting you know of mandatory inspections. When the office was called they said something along the lines of us not really having a say in the matter,I think to myself, "wait, he was coming in with or without our permission." It would be ok if it were the fire department doing a mandatory safety check, no this is basically the owner coming in and taking a peak at your stuff. I don't like that fact because if I am paying thousands of dollars per year I should at least have privacy and people come in at my own say.

Overall, I didn't really enjoy this area. The pools close at 10 (even on the weekends) No late night relaxation in this hot tubs. The security guard will usually bother you until you leave. I say this is no way to defame Castle Park Apartments, it is just sad because it was not what I expected. Definitely will not live here again.
