I applied for apartments at lido apartments in San Bernardino, CA and it took about three days for them to give me answer. The manager called to let me know that I can be approved under conditions: one I pay off an account on my credit, and pay a double deposit which was a total of 455. I was happy to be approved and I paid that account off and gave the manager a copy of the account showing it was paid and with zero balance. My schedule move in date was for July, 20th 2009 but I changed it to July, 24 2009.
I called in on July 20th to see what apartment number I will be moving in because I wanted transfer my power service. I spoke with a lido leasing agent and she said that I was not approved yet and said that I would have to pay off another account off my credit. I did not understand because I never received a phone call from lido apartments saying that I was not approved. I had applied for the apartment in June and from that time I took care of what the manager said to take care of. The day I dropped off the copy of my account showing at zero and asked a lot of question regarding my move in. The first question I asked how much it will be total to move in the manager said you have to pay double deposit and the pro rate of the remanding days in the month of July which was $218. I then went to my car and another question came to my mind and it was if I could still get the move in special and she said yes.
Wow lucky I called in to get the apartment number to transfer my power bill. I would have been going to Lido apartments with a moving truck with no apartment. I called the property management which is cannon property management located in Riverside, CA they pretty much did nothing about this issue I m so un- happy with the service and will never recommend them to anyone. They are not professional and they do nothing to make up for what they do wrong. I m lucky that I live with family because if I was in a lease and had put my 30 day notice in I would have to move out and be homeless.
I have never been mislead like this and I will never go to any apartment that are manage by cannon management located in Riverside, CA or ever recommend Lido Apartments in San Bernardino, CA .
The name of the manager s name at Lido Apartments is ----- that provided the worst customer service that I have ever received in my life. Also --- the regional manager did not help me at all and pretty much told me to settle it with the manager at Lido Apartments.

I completely understand what you are saying. We, unfortunatly, got stuck in a lease there and I had to graduate from CSUSB before I could afford to move. When we could finally move, which was not to long ago, it was the happiest day of my life. I'm very happy you did not get your apartment. I say this because the apartments are horrible. They will show you one apartment but, give you a trashy one. The apartments are not clean (only have new carpet) and they appliances do not work. They charged us a huge deposit when we moved in and they took about all of it. To clean, put new carpet in and paint. We cleaned, the apartment didn't need to be painted and we were told to not worry about cleaning the carpets because they actumatically put new ones in. Our attorney is looking over the deposit information now. They are horrible people. Cannon Management could care less if they give good cutomer services. Its really sad when you can go do laundry or go to the pool and all the residence do is sit around and talk about how horrible the apartments are. It made my day when I found out the couldn't sale anymore of the Condos and then now more then half of them are being forclosed on...probably the worst investment they could do but, hey we know they are not the brightest people in the world. I hope you find a good apartment or home. We got so pissed off we moved out of state to get away from the stupid people. They probably laugh when they see these posting but remember that karma always catches up to you and you know you'll go to bed feeling confortable at night but, they go to bed knowing that they are horrible and not very smart...I guess thats why they have to work for an apartment complex...cause they can't get a real job...lol! Good luck my friend!!

well obviously u dont have a good job either if u have the time to post negative remarks about other people... and i cant believe that people would sit around the pool and talk about a place that they still remain living in..that is just too funny that, u so called educated people have the time to post such things...u stated what goes around comes around and take a look at what ur doing...ur rejoicing in their misfortune with the condos and posting negative things about people that have no power nor authority to release u out of a lease. ive lived at lido for 7years and have never had one issue...face it! if u couldnt get approved then u couldnt get approved!! go somewhere else to rent instead of speaking such things about normal hard working people!! i love the staff at lido, they are very pleasant and hard working...if i ever have any issues..they are more than willing to help out!!!when i rented with lido 7years ago...i had no problems getting approved...maybe cuz my credit was good!!!If you feel you are so smart and wise...here's alittle advice... become a home owner!!!

Must be pretty sad to be you...to have lived at Lido for 7 years...so how has 7 years of purgatory been??? This must be one of the managers to say anything pleasant about an unpleasant place...and if you see all of the other negative feedback on this place it should be pretty clear that it isn't just a coincedence...and I can easily say that yes there is plenty of hard working people there, but there are also many scumbags who never seem to work or do anything productive for this world...in fact its amazing that some people found the egg...

leave your comments on your experiences & not on people working at Lido. They have been very helpful to me and my family. And how dare anyone judge someone by their job, when there are so many homeless people and people getting laid off. A job is a job and just having one is a blessing with the way the economy has been.

it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know you paid a Huge deposit because you must have been a Huge risk. Perhaps you don't pay your bills on time and you have crap for credit.... what did you expect? Obviously, you trashed the place when you left because if you'd of left it like you recieved it by law they'd have to give your deposit back. Seriously, grow up! I know its easier to blame others for your problems but take some responsibility for your actions and pull up your big boy pants. You don't even have the nerve to put your name.... WOW! Come on... Grow a pair!
