These apartments... Riviera AKA Serenity Riviera or as the name on the front currently shows... "River Glen" all spells the same thing: SLUM! Shall we start by discoursing the details of the couple of murders that have taken place on the property' Or that the onsite manager's own car was recently stolen in the parking lot' Not to mention the cars of the tenants being burned, stolen, smashed, etc. seem to fall on deaf ears to the Nijar family of Pama Management in El Monte, who are too busy making campaign contributions to politicians running for city council (your rent dollars hard at work doing everything but maintaining the properties!). Pete Nijar of Pama is well aware of the problems, but doesn't give a damn. It would be beautiful if a court judge would sentence him to having to sleep in his own unsafe apartments. Maybe then he'd restore the courtesy patrol the former owners used to have at night, so HIS car wouldn't be stolen. The kids routinely pulling the fire alarm here should better pull it at Pama's offices to give the Nijar's a much-needed WAKE UP call and act responsibly instead of slum-lording it over arguably the most mismanaged property in San Bernardino.
