We went to look at the apartments few months ago, and were turned down because our credit was not satisfactory. I've been at my job for over 6 years and my boyfriend over 3. Personally I think it was because he's black and I'm white. They were rude to us, gave us different rates over the phone than in person, and when reviewing our credit application, were making comments about his child support. It was the rudest treatment we ever got and to be denied over not good credit was bs. Now we find out four people were shot execution style in that complex and 24 lbs of cocaine were found there few days ago, makes me wonder who they really allow to live there and what kind of backround check they do. If you are other than white - don't bother, they'll find a way not to take you.
