well where to start. when my family and i first moved in it looked promising. i love green and i love cool climates. i'll start with the weather first. it's cold very cold and foggy. when the wind blows it's even colder. very hot in the summer. a bit humid. as for the apartment itself it's not too shabby but you notice things here and there that just aren't quite right that you don't notice in the initial look around because the staff leading you around who seems to have a strange twitch to them from hiding something other than their personal habits which might relate to drugs. you'll notice that some of the building area's are not structuraly sound as are beams of metal rusted out and wood rotted to the core due to the foggy area which saturates and corrodes. hence forth if you leave anything out it will be rusted and destroyed. watch your step is my only words of advice. that which is covered up mostly with paint over and over again i gaurantee you can smack it with a hammer and it will give with little to no effort. such as hand railings, and benches that aren't bolted. so watch where you sit. if you have careful attention to detail you will notice these very obvious details. when you walk into the apartment do not be duped into believing the rug is new just cleaned or patched, maybe.... or maybe not. the decks are unstable as well and maybe rotted out due to the weather. i recently believe that the pavemet was removed due to large amounts of lead found. no one knowing how much more that there may be. back inside you'll notice that the tub has a drain a shower but no stopper you will need to provide one for yourself and as to the plumbing well there is such a thing that is called water hammer "the noise that sounds like banging when air and water travel through the same pipe but not enough room for air to escape" the solution is a 6 in. air chamber that is installed towards the end of the fixture. but don't count on the maintenace to care for your plumbing they can't even fix a p-trap "the drainage system underneath your sink" right. the maintenance can't even put up correct electrical outlet faces which will not allow you to plug anything in that would stay. you would have to take the extended face off and replace it or leave it off. the blinds are shanty to say the least as they do not hold against a breath of wind. and the cheap screens put up are of the same lacking quality. the door as it is your only barrier from the outside is warped and difficult to close. as it is due i'm sure to the weather and improper installation techniques. the neighbors aren't too bad but that depends on who your located next to and my family and i have been lucky to have good neighbors with the occasional fight and yell and party here n there. mostly it's the maintenance people that make the most noise. the parking is hell so if you plan on having any visitors advise them not to double park or double check as to what seems a parking spot. as for the management try to imagine a very large woman who's bipolar and quite possibly with more neuralogical dissorders, on coke and meth at the same time who's sole purpose is to make your life a living hell. and once you've crossed the line with her it seems that you must walk on egg shells to the last min of your stay afraid to do anything that might get you evicted or endangered in some way. in one yelling match i ended up with a screw in my wheel after the encounter. i can't say it was management but i wouldn't put it passed them. as for the rest of management the apples can't fall to far from the tree, and it's roots of corruption. last but certainly not least the payment of rent is outragous and should be looked into very maticulously remember what is it that we are paying for: clean livable environments with good wholesome neighbors and a staff that is willing to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
