worst experience of my life

My lease just ended and I can honestly say that I've never been happier. Like many others I was lured into signing a lease by my initial viewing of the apartments. The view was nice and the location was good. It didn't take long to realize what a horrible decision I had made.
1. The management at Allegro consists of the 2 worst people I have ever had to deal with. Unfortunately other reviews were removed because they listed their names, but they were all spot on. They will make your time at Allegro hell. Rude, obnoxious, and downright criminal!
2. The train noise is unbearable. Be prepared to wake up every night at 2 or 3 in the morning to the blaring train horns right outside your windows.
3. Tenants here are terrible. Drug dealing is rampant, blaring music and partys at all hours. Thin walls make this even worse, you can hear every footstep from the people above you.
4. Washing machines don't work and will ruin your clothers.
The list could go on but I'm getting tired of talking about this hell hole. Take my advice and rent elsewhere you will thank me.

This is such a crock of garbage. I have lived in the building for over a year and I have had nothing short of a wonderful experience. The building is made of solid cement so the comment about thin walls is ridiculous. The train noise is minimum due to the sound proof windows and doors and should be expected when you live downtown. Bad tenants, good tenants, you're going to have both where ever you live and to be honest I think the people that live here are great. We are all lucky to have washers and dryers in our unit and they work if you pay attention to how and use them. All I can say is whomever wrote this must be a seriously unhappy person in general because Allegro Towers ROCKS!

smoofdoggy...you have got to be kiddinig!! NO, wait...you are a part of the management team...prehaps?? There is no way a TRUE resident could have written this review! The place is a DUMP and if you don't see this, you wrote a review for the WRONG apartment complex! You are a part of the management team or you are close friends with the leasing agents! GET A FRICKINIG LIFE WHY DON'T YA??????????????

My name is Christopher Blubaugh, and I recently toured Allegro Towers. I was very pleased with the courtious staff and well kept lobby area, workout room, and pool/BBQ lounge area on the 8th floor roof. I have decided to rent here and will be moving in 10 days. I intend to post another comment after living at Allegro for a month or so. I will post an honest opinion based on facts, not emotions. I am looking forward to moving in.

2curious I think the units themselves are great. Nice finishes for a rental. The locale is great too. I just wouldnt expect too much attention from the staff after you move in. I don't think you typically would have that much contact at any rental community. Some negatives includes a processing fee at any amount that is non-refundable is rediculous. The parking is not included and will cost another 100.00 on top of your rent, unless it has gone up. Electric bills are extremely high and double what I have ever paid before, or now. It think it may have to do with the combo washer/dryer. That, by the way, ruined a lot of my clothes. And, yes, I downloaded the users manual from the internet. I was not given one at move in. They are the euro type washers. They're totally different than the standard type. I think that would be the biggest deterent for me in considering this building again. Let's see, what else. Well, there are a log of twenty something "kids" in the building. I find most of these types renting downtown to be pretty badly behaved. The rooftop pool (above the 8th floor) is fantastic. It was anyway when the building first opened and there were few people living there. I think the building itself is very attractive and units are unique. However, you can rent a nice condominium from an individual in the same area for less. Good luck!

Oh you silly people - don't do it!!!!! Christopher - are you my noisey neighbor? If so, please be quiet! Don't be naive - they are nice to you until you sign that one year lease - and when in the presence of "potential new tenants." I hope you are one of the lucky ones. Once you sign that lease, you can't get out - you are bound by a one-year lease - what are you thinking?

Christoper where are you!
I agree about the noise from the neighbors! I can't believe I can hear so much in my bedroom - even can hear him pleasuring himself!!!!
I agree with all the negative!

Hey unhappy. What floor are you on? Cause I don't hear a thing! Maybe you should take your ear away from your bedroom wall you perv. Does watching your neighbor clean his tiles with pouring water get you off too? Don't be jealous cause you ain't gett'n none.
