Ants, Thin Walls and No Parking

I had read about the ant problem in other posts, and didn't think it would happen to me, because of my obsessive cleanliness. WRONG! I'm on a bottom-floor apartment and ants are everywhere. Essentially, you cannot have ANY trash whatsoever in your apartment.
The walls are unbelievably thin. My neighbors upstairs are probably simply walking, but it sounds like a herd of elephants. I get up in the morning when they get up. I get up in the night when they get up. It's horrific.
Finally, enough has not been said about the parking. If you arrive home after eight or nine at night, good luck. I had the misfortune of working until 1 a.m. last week, and arrived back at the complex to find ALL of the parking gone. That's right, ALL. There is no parking on the street, so I parked my $55,000 car over 1/2 mile away. Mind you, I have a larger 1-bedroom with a den, so I am technically supposed to have two spaces and I'm only using one. I've already been towed once out of a visitor space when all of the resident parking was full. That's how Archstone treats its residents.
And the loud college student issue is right. They walk around at 2 a.m. with their beer cans in hand, meeting their friends out on the street. How am I supposed to know which apartments they are coming from'
Can't wait to break my lease and leave.
