This Place Is Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see, where do I start! First, the Managemnent here is like talking to a customer service representative for your credit card that ends up being in the Philipines. Completely useless. I get more intelligent responses from my two year old neice than I do out of management. Since I moved in, there is only one girl that is the working in the office that was there when I moved in and I notice that she stays below the radar! High turnover equals a crappy work environment. I also love getting the 3 day pay or quit notice when I check my account and the check for my rent had cleared. READ THE LEASE THOROUGHLY. IF YOU RENEW YOUR LEASE, DO NOT THINK THAT THE LEASE HAS NOT CHANGED, EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU NOTHING HAS CHANGED. ALSO, THESE ARE NOT STANDARD LEASES!!! It is one of archstones little scams to squeeze more money out of the trusting tenant. Archstone is a publicly traded company. Look at Enron, Worldcom, Peregrine...I think all of their executives came from Archstone ;) I moved from one Apartment into another within the complex. When I moved, management charged me a $500.00 moving deposit. I told them, if I moved out of the complex entirely, you would not be charging me and if I was a new tenant moving in, I would only be charged $199.00 for security. Why do I have to pay this fee' They said it is in case of damage to the old apartment. Yet, they had already done there inspection and said it looked beautiful! But, it was time to sign the new lease and it was the first of the month, where was I going to go with my truck full of belongings' At that point, I had felt as if I had become less intelligent from having that conversation. There is no grace period here what-so-ever. If you travel alot for business, this is not the place for you. If you pay on the 2nd of the month, you better have included you fifty dollar late fee. If your downstairs neighbor has a sub hooked up to their surround sound, do not expect to sleep. The management makes a phone call and sends a letter suppossedly, but the noise does not stop. Did I forget to mention that I have been a musician for 25 years, so my hearing is bad to begin with. That gives you an idea of how loud it is. People do not pick up after there dogs. If you hate spiders, this place is definitely not for you. They build webs in the stair wells and between the carports and trees. It is always fun to walk through one when you are walking your dog and have a three to five inch spider across your face. The machines in the weight rooms are damaged half of the time or do not work properly. I bought a new car ($50,000) and parked it in front of my garage, which I had one of the garages that are allowed to do that. I came out in the morning and my car was gone. Archstone's towing company towed it beacause they never informed the driver that those slots could be used for parking. Then when I called management, they said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to pay for it. Yes, that is correct, I paid for a parking spot, they made the mistake and towed me, then I have to pay for it' Well, I had the manager on the phone who was at home at the time and it got taken care of. I still had to waste my sunday and go pick up my car, which now had a dent in the fender. Archstone and the towing company denied any responsibility. But, I think I would have noticed the dent driving from the dealership ten miles to my apartment. Archstone offered no apology at all. However, the tow company sent me a $150.00 gift certificate to a nice restaurant. It is pretty sad that a tow company has better customer relations than the place you call home! Well, this database cannot hold all of my rants, because there are alot more. I have lived all over and traveled the world. I take things with a grain of salt. But I felt the need to let people know what they will be in for if they decided to live here. I cannot wait until my lease is up!
