My move-out experience was difficult to say the least and while under california law a landlord is required to refund unused security deposits within 21 days, I have yet to see mine. Apparently there was a glitch in their system and I have to wait another 5 days to receive my check...at which point I will probably still be empty-handed. My advice is to either avoid Fairfield at all costs or call them repeatedly until you are satisfied with your experience. Quite a disappointment...

I saw this exact review for two other different apartment complexes. I have a feeling other companies do this to steer people away from the competition...

I don't think its a fake. I am currently trying to get my security deposit and another $730 I accidently paid through a web bill pay service, back and its been 20 days. I called and they say they are waiting on the check from their corporate office. They are quite snappy when asked for details and somehow believe that they have 21 bussiness days when the civil code 1950.5 Para G1 clearly states 21 calendar days. All this after they promised to put a rush on it because I really needed that money.
