The parking is generally ample during early afternoon hours, but I continually find guests parked in resident only spots. It is very frustrating to come home and have to hunt for a parking spot.

The noise is OK, it can be super quiet during some parts of the day and bad others. I constantly hear noise from the neighbors above me! I also hear the people below me and to the side of me when they talk loud. For as much money as I pay per month, you would think the wall insulation would be thicker. Also, everyone slams their door here (Avion has the type of doors that automatically shut, so people aren't very conscious about shutting it softly).

The people in the community are very friendly, however. People always talk with you at the jacuzziand smile when you pass by. The office staff is also very professional and pretty friendly.

The community is never gated. In fact the main gate has been continuously open now for 2 straight weeks. Plus, with all the cars and only 2 gates, the gate is always open anyways. Poor planning I suppose.

I never understood gated communities anyway - it's not like it is difficult to get into even what appears to be the most secure community. The one I live in has a gate, plus a swing arm. You have to wait for the gate to open, then the swing arm to raise. Only one car can pass through, and then the swing arm slams down. Difficult to get into? Well, visitors have to type in your number to call and get access - many residents also use this method when they forget their card. Someone sitting in front of you blocking the access gate - people have literally told them to pull ahead to the gate and then buzzed them in. Basically, gates are only there to fool people into thinking they are secure, when in reality the gates are only a major pain to the residents who pay extra for it.
