Quality is rapidly decreasing

When my husband and I first moved in, we fell in love with the entire property: from the apartment layout (we rented a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, with den), the landscaping (especially the dog park), and all of the amenities offered to us at this apartment complex. About 2-3 months before our lease was up, we noticed a rapid decline in the type of tenants that were moving in- they were young, newly married couples, whose main interest was in partying, drinking, and being obnoxiously loud (even on the weekdays). Now, my husband and I are still young too, but we do NOT condone that type of behavior. We also had a problem with other tenants blocking our garage on numerous occasions and parking in the red zone! The last time I checked, the "red zone" in a parking lot means "no parking". When my husband went in to the front office to let them know of the problems, he overheard the office staff saying they lowered the qualifications for the new and future tenants, and the rent! That answered our questions as to how these people were able to move into this complex. Needless to say, when our lease was up, we moved out. We moved out in time because we could see that the quality of this apartment complex was decreasing; it is such a shame.

100 PERCENT AGREE. I AM MOVING OUT AFTER 3 YEARS. TENANTS ARE NOISY, PARK ANYWHERE, ETC.

I remember during the summer of 2008, I had an appointment and was almost late because someone was blocking my garage. I could not find the person who owned the vehicle; needless to say, I was more than livid. There were numerous times when people were moving in or out and blocked my garage, and I kindly asked them to move their moving truck. They had the nerve to pitch a fit about it! The way I see it, I paid money for the use of that garage and it was not my fault that they were blocking the way out.
