Well, we finally have to leave!! It's been six wonderful years here at Bernardo Hills. Unfortunately the appartment complex turned into a condo conversion and we stayed as long as we could, now our unit is being sold, thus time to go!
My daughter was only 10 when we moved here, now she is sweet 16!! She attended Turtle Back Elementary School right across the street, so convenient. A beautiful neighborhood that was home for a long time.
One of the reasons we stayed here so long was because of the Assistant Manager Riccardo. The Manager moved to a different property, so Riccardo was the onsite Manager who was always professional, yet personable and courteous. He made sure things got done in a timely manner, had a great personality and sense of humor - I can't say enough good things about Riccardo. He will be missed by my daughter and I. I wish him the best, and highly recommend him to any perspective employer.
I have lived in several apartment complexes in my lifetime and know first hand how important it is to have a good Manager. It's right up there with having a good boss! I only hope that our next apartment experience is as pleasant as the one at Bernardo Hills:)

Wow, I think this could only be Miss P.B. and I can't believe you feel this way! You are so kind and complimentary which is completely unnecessary. Such a friendly person, there are so many nice things to say about you as well, but one doesn't reveal personal items on a public website. I do think there was a kind of chemistry there. Now that everyone has gone their separate ways, I think a nightcap or simple cup of coffee would have been the perfect thing. But shyness always gets in the way and people don't do what they should, and then time goes on. Who knows what fate has in store for us all.
