We rented a 2BR corner unit with one bedroom facing Cowley Way and the other facing the parking lot. It's the noisiest place we've ever lived! If you are a college student and like to party all night, then it will be fine for you, but if you work for a living, forget about getting a decent nights sleep. Somehow our apartment seemed like an echo chamber for the noise, making it even worse. There are other apartments facing the canyon and inner courtyards that are most likely quieter, but none were available, so we go out of there within 3 weeks of moving in.
Also, if you like to relax by the pool or swim for exercise, forget about that also! The pool is always too crowded with rowdy kids and families.
Other than those things, the aparment itself was very nice - except for the problem with the black carpet oil - and the management was professional and curtious. Just don't rent an apartment on the street!!!

Agreed I moved out about 2 months ago.
The pool is better in the winter....but its not that warm, but less kids...
The street is really loud, it has gotten worse as time went on (moved in 2005) Loud cars at all hours, trucks from the construction of condos down the street. People whipping around the parking lot went pulling U turns to park on the street.
Staff is nice and the parking is ok (they never yelled at me for working on my car in the car port) But I believe its over priced at this point
