I have lived in Carmel Summit for 2 and half years. Recently, CM was bought by BRE and since, I have been looking for a new place to live. There is constant construction noise and I have not been able to use my deck for 2 months now. Since having to move my table/chairs and bbq downstairs to my garage, I have not been able to park in my garage either. There have been 3 instances where there have been workers in my apartment and I have had to move things around. On top of this BRE raised my rent 220 dollars a month. Once they are finished with the construction, they are going to raise the rent another $300. I hope others follow and leave the area as well. I will never live in a complex managed by BRE.
