Not worth it

We moved in a little over a year ago, before the new management took over. The first few months were perfect. The new management has been rude on more than a few occasions to me. When I need to get ahold of someone in the office I have to call usually 10 times, sometimes taking a few days to talk to someone. Shortly after I moved in is when they began remodeling the complex. We were unlucky enough to be in one of the buildings directly next to the main construction site so have had to put up with the noise & inconvienient parking ever since. They just started on our building a month ago. It's suposed to be a gated community but when someone rammed the gate leaving it so it wouldn't close it didn't get fixed for over a month. My car was broken into durring this time. When I called to report it to management so they knew there was a problem they told me it wasn't their problem. This started out to be a complex we really liked. Perfect location, roomy floor plans. It's too bad our experience here has been so terrible. Most of our neighbors have moved out including one couple who had been here for 8 years. When we moved in our 1 bedroom apt was $1295. This fall it will be going up to around $1800. It's absolutly rediculous! FYI for anyone looking to move to another apt in the area, Carmel Landing (formerly Reflections) is owned by the same management group.
